LEICESTER team manager Stewart Dickson will be absent from tonight’s Championship Grand Final at Poole.
Stewart was admitted to hospital in Leicester on Tuesday evening after suffering with chest pains, and he was kept in overnight for observation and tests.
Thankfully he has been released on Wednesday afternoon but is under instructions to rest for a period of time following treatment.
In his absence, Plymouth boss Garry May will step in to take charge of the Watling JCB Lions at Wimborne Road tonight. Stewart will also miss Saturday’s second leg as he is returning to Glasgow to rest.
All at Leicester Speedway would like to send ‘the gaffer’ our very best wishes, and we hope he is back to full health in the shortest possible time.
